Service Enhancements: Auction Creator Now Allows Multiple Item Templates

Previously our Auction Creator program only allowed one template per user. We now allow multiple templates per user. Each template can be separately uploaded and managed from the "Manage WISE Templates" link available from your profile. When listing auctions, you can select which template to use. You can also select a default template from the "Customize WISE" link in your profile.

Service Enhancements: Bulk Relister Allows Hiding of Previously Listed Auctions

A new feature for our Bulk Relister now allows you to hide any previously listed auctions in the result listings. This is useful for sellers who relist items multiple times. With this option selected, sellers will only see the most recent relisting of previously listed items, and items that have not been relisted previously. Since many sellers make changes to items after they are listed, you don't need to worry about relisting an old version of an item that may have incorrect or outdated information.

Selling Tip: eBay's Want It Now Speciality Site

One of eBay's speciality sites, known as Want It Now, is a great resource for sellers. Want It Now functions as a "reverse auction" system: buyers post the items they are looking for and then sellers can reply to the listings by linking to one of their auctions. Using Want It Now (http://pages.ebay.com/wantitnow/) you can find out exactly what items buyers are searching for and then list items only when you know there are interested buyers. This can help save you time and money since you don't need to list items that might not sell since no buyers are interested in them. Additionally Want It Now allows you to browse by category, which allows you to understand what categories are "hot", judging by the number of items in each category. This information can help as a quick search to find new markets to expand your business.
