Service and Website Enhancements

Service Enhancements
We have added a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG aka wisy-wig) HTML editor to our auction creator software program. This means that you no longer need to know any HTML when creating your item description, saving you time to work on more important tasks.

We have modified our Customer Order Tracking service. First, from the "Change User Info" link in your Benda AE Profile you can now choose the default number of days you want the "Shipped Date" to appear as. Previously, all items were marked as shipped one day after payment was received.

The service now also checks the carrier (USPS/UPS/Fedex) and modifies what the user sees based upon this selection. For instance, if you shipped an item via USPS and supplied a delivery confirmation or tracking number, our software will query the USPS database to retrieve and display detailed tracking information about your package.

Website Enhancements
The navigation of the user area (which we fondly call the "Command Center") has been simplified so that you can access all of the services from a handy menu on the left side of the page.

Referral Program Details: Earn Free Months of Service!

Using a simple link that we provide you once you log in, you can earn 1 month of free service for each customer you refer who pays for one month of service with us. You can check your referral status at any time by clicking on the "Referral Status" link in your Benda AE profile. Your friends can either use the link we give you or enter your Benda AE email in the "Referral Email" box on the sign up page to give you this credit.

Launch of Benda AE Forums: Seller Connect

We have recently added a forum section to our site. This area is a place for sellers to trade their stories, advice, and tips to help others succeed. We will be posting our tips and secrets as well!

Selling Tip: When Negatives Strike- Mutual Feedback Withdrawal

If you sell items on eBay, sooner or later you will be receiving negative feedback. The important thing to remember about feedback is that the percentage of positives, not the number of negatives, is what buyer's look at most. Keeping positive feedback at 98% or above should be your goal, especially if you want to become an eBay PowerSeller. When you do get a negative, however, there is a possibility you can have it withdrawn using eBay's Mutual Feedback Withdrawal form.

After filling out eBay's Mutual Feedback Withdrawal form, the buyer is emailed your request to withdraw. If they agree to your request (which can normally be sweetened by offering to refund part of the payment for the item, or fixing the problem they gave you the negative for in the first place) the negative is removed, although the actual text of the feedback remains in your profile.

Good luck selling!
